Poetry
  • Lewis Leicher has returned to Poetry, now that he has retired, after an almost 40-year break (for which Poetry has not yet forgiven him). During that break, he worked as an attorney, including for almost 20 years for WebMD. He has lived in San Diego since 2001 and, before that, lived in and around New York City for most of his life.
     

  • William Teets was born in Peekskill, New York, and has recently relocated to Southeast, Michigan. He misses New York pizza, the Hudson River, and Fran, Remember the Good Times ‘68. Mr. Teets’ work has been published in various journals and anthologies, including Ariel Chart, Drunk Monkeys, and Impspired. A collection of his poetry, "After the Fall," was published by Cajun Mutt Press in February 2023.
     

  • Darren C. Demaree is the author of twenty-three poetry collections, most recently “So Much More,” (Harbor Editions, November 2024). He is the recipient of a Greater Columbus Arts Council Grant, an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award, the Louise Bogan Award from Trio House Press, and the Nancy Dew Taylor Award from Emrys Journal. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Best of the Net Anthology and the Managing Editor of Ovenbird Poetry. He is currently working in the Columbus Metropolitan Library system.
     

  • Stephen Barile is an award-winning poet from Fresno, California, Pushcart Prize nominee, and former member of the Fresno Poets Association. He attended Fresno Pacific University, and CSU Fresno. His poems have been anthologized, published in numerous journals, both print and on-line. He taught writing at Madera College, and CSU Fresno.
     

  • Diana Raab, MFA, PhD, is a memoirist, poet, workshop leader, thought-leader and award-winning author of fourteen books. Her work has been widely published and anthologized. She frequently speaks and writes on writing for healing and transformation.  Her 14th and newest book is "Hummingbird: Messages from My Ancestors," A memoir with reflection and writing prompts (Modern History Press, 2024).   • Kathryn Lasseter is retired and lives in Oregon. She has poems in Cypress Review, You Might Need to Hear This, East Ridge Revies, Stone Poetry Quarterly, and other journals.
     

  • Victoriano Cárdenas (he/they) is a trans poet of genízaro & borikén descent from northern New Mexico. He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2014 with Bachelors of Arts and Sciences in both English and History, and again in 2020 with a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a concentration in Poetry. His debut poetry collection, "Portraits as Animal," was released on April 1, 2023 by Bloomsday Literary Press. He currently lives in Albuquerque and writes on the SXI team at Meow Wolf.
     

  • Sarah Sorensen (she/her), MA, MLIS is a queer writer based in the Metro Detroit area. Sarah's most recent work can be found in Soundings East, Jet Fuel Review, and The Bryant Literary Review. Sometimes she daydreams about rescuing every shelter dog in Metro Detroit, but she just has one tiny fireball of barks. Her work is forthcoming from The Sonora Review, so stay tuned!
     

  • George Franklin is the author of seven poetry collections, including his recent: "What the Angel Saw, What the Saint Refused" from Sheila-Na-Gig Editions. Individual poems have been published in Hare's Paw Literary Journal, Solstice, South Florida Poetry Journal, Rattle, Cagibi, New Ohio Review, The American Journal of Poetry, The Comstock Review, One Art, and Cultural Daily. He practices law in Miami, is a translations editor for Cagibi and a guest editor for Sheila-Na-Gig Online, teaches poetry workshops in Florida prisons, and co-translated, along with the author, Ximena Gómez's Último día/Last Day. In 2023, he was the first prize winner of the W.B. Yeats Poetry Prize, and his work has been featured on the public radio podcast The Slowdown. His website: https://gsfranklin.com/
     

  • Matt Thompson lives in Atlanta, GA with his elderly beagle. His previous poetry can be found in The 1922 Review and Lone Mountain Literary Society.
     

  • Richard Stimac has published a poetry book "Bricolage" (Spartan Press), two poetry chapbooks, and one flash fiction chapbook. In his work, Richard explores time and memory through the landscape and humanscape of the St. Louis region.

Prose
  • Ella Leith is a writer of fiction, creative non-fiction, and occasional poetry. Originally from the Midlands of England and now living in Malta, her work draws on a background in folklore and oral history to explore the ways in which the past and uncanny exist in the present and mundane. Recent publications include Gramarye, The Literary Times Magazine, and Oprelle’s Matter XXIII anthology.
     

  • Nathaniel Spain is a writer and designer based in the North East of England. He is particularly interested in the natural world, folklore, and the uncanny. His short fiction and poetry have been published by Sidekick Books, The Braag, Carmina Magazine, and others.
     

  • Hannah Morehead grew up in Haymarket, Virginia and quickly fell in love with writing about her experiences with the world around her. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Professional Flight Technology and minors in Naval Science and Creative Writing. She enjoys writing as both a hobby and to pursue her childhood dream of being a published author. During her free time, she enjoys reading, running, working out, and walking her fat basset hound Fergus.
