Barrie Cole's first book of poetry, "Lacquer is a Thrilling Word," came out in May 2026. She is also the author of 15 plays including Capacity, Meaning is Tricky, and Elevator Tours. Most recently her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Cagibi, Molecule, South Florida Poetry Journal, Odd Pocket, and Jackdaw.

N.W. Hicks is a Connecticut-based New England poet. An alumnus of UConn and Manhattanville University, his poems have appeared in Atlanta Review, Four Tulips, Poetose, Wild Roof Journal, Tabula Rasa, and elsewhere. He believes in water but works with dirt and dreams of becoming a river’s meander.

Martin Fisher's poems have appeared in Ink Sweat & Tears, JMWW, ANTAE, Red Ogre Review, Hobo Camp Review, Cosmic Daffodil Journal, Neon and Smoke, and elsewhere. His work moves between the everyday and the strange, often returning to memory and place. His working life carried him across Africa and Europe before he settled in Sussex, UK, where he works, semi-retired, as a gardener, and shares his home with his wife and two dogs. He writes for enjoyment, not ambition.

James Lilliefors is a poet and journalist. His poems have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net and he was runner-up for the 2026 Silent River Poetry Prize. His chapbook, "Sudden Shadows," was published in 2025 by Finishing Line Press.

Shaomei Yu is a bilingual poet with a passion for capturing life's moments in verse. She moved to the U.S. from China in the 1990s. She believes poetry is a universal language that transcends boundaries and connects people across cultures. Her poems have appeared in Moonstone Press anthologies, Fjords Review, Cathexis Northwest Press, The Raven Review, and Jackdaw Press (forthcoming), among other publications.

J. Michael Hays is an emerging, unpublished writer with a working-class Southern heritage. He is gay and a late-diagnosed member of the neurodivergent community. He works with at-risk youth on the spectrum in Savannah, GA, and is also pursuing a graduate degree in psychology on the path to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
